Unfortunately Iphone and Ipad don't support flash so you'll see the HTML version of moto cms which is not optimized for this devices and you'll be not able to access the admin panel through it as admin runs flash only.

I will not need access to the control panel from my smartphone. i am more concerned about making my website available to my customers. Will it be necessary for me to create an additional scaled back static version of my existing website site in order for it to be compatible with a mobile device considering their limitations? For example, although my Droid cellphone is an android based phone and flash compatible, my site is essentially not usable because of display size and the speed at which the data is processed. Even if you had the patience to wait for the pages to load, you would have to zoom in 5 times just to be able to touch a button or enter a form field. I am sure a small portion of my customer base will eventually upgrade to newer devices and 4G service, in the meantime any advice you can offer would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
Allan, I think I should probably re-phrase my question:
Do you have any advice as to the best way to create a similar looking static page from my existing CMS Flash site? I would prefer not to start from scratch. I understand from your response to the question as I first asked it, an HTML site would not be accessible through the CMS control panel. That's okay. On the splash page of the existing site I could provide a link to the static page. All I really need is to create a simple introductory page that resembles the look of rest of the site. Once there I could suggest that they use a flash capable device and return to the main site if they want more detail. Fortunately, they would still be able to access the part of my website that provides rate quotes, takes reservations and payments. Those pages are already HTML and are hosted separately from the main (CMS Flash) website and connected via links in the main menu. Please let me know if I am on the right track or if you think I should attack the problem differently.
Thanks, Jack Fiamingo
Allan? You going to respond? I am curious as well.
Currently we are working on a new html version for the Moto CMS sites, optimized especially for the mobile devices. Unfortunately, the task appeared to be very complicated, so at this moment it is difficult to say exactly, when this work will be finished.
We receive the requests from our customers regarding this every day, so I can assure you: this task is the paramount for us.
Great News, because actually it's the only big problem with your product, i'm happy to know the mobile version is on the way :)
AWESOME! I am totally okay if it doesn't look the same since I know about the complicaitons of taking flash into a static environment. I just would love it if my information and photos came up in a presentable manner. It doesn't have to be fancy.
Can you please give me an update on the status of this issue. If the feature is currently available, what is my next step to make it happen?
Yes, please update us since this is really starting to turn into a headache!!!
We are still working on this task. Unfortunately, we still cannot promise, when it will be ready, the progress is very slow. Thank you for understanding and patience.
Damn!! Can we please at least get a jQuery version?? SHIT, I will even take an HTML version just give me something now!!
Hello Brett,
There is an old HTML version. And this is all, what we have for now. We are terribly sorry for your inconvenience.
Best regards,
Kostas Snider
The HTML version you have looks TERRIBLE!!! Have you even seen how it looks in an iPhone or iPad?? At least give us the option to create and embed our own HTML version if you are not willing to update.
Brett, we know current HTML version looks terrible - that is why we are working on a new one. And if it would be easy to create your own HTML version - we would already finished this work long time ago. Unfortunately, this is extremely difficult.
You can make a separate HTML page and re-direct users with no Flash installed to it. Please, see: http://support.cms-guide.com/entries/490377-how-to-redirect-a-user-....

any update on the mobile version?
The work is still in progress. Our programmers are hoping it will be finished in one month (before I always heard "we need about two months more..."). We all are willing to make it as soon as possible.
Kostas.
I have a question regarding those (my clients) that want to visit my flash site and do not have flash installed on to their computer (as some people just do not know about flash etc.). Does it automatically pop up saying they should install flash to view the site?? or will it just automatically give them the "crappy" html viewing of my site??
Hello Ryan,
It will load an html version of your site. You can check it by disabling Java Script in your browser.
One of the solutions for this can be re-direct for non-Flash users. You can re-direct them to html page which will ask to install Flash Player. Please, see http://support.cms-guide.com/entries/490377-how-to-redirect-a-user-...

no updates on this? its been months
Sorry, they are still working. The only thing I can ensure you: now they are working really hard on this. Full load.
Kostas
When will the flash be available compatable with Ipad2 etc... The Ipads are flying off the shelves....you need to cater for them also...!!!
Unfortunately, only Apple can install Flash on iPads. And we have to look for the other solution..
MotoCMS IS flash, which generates pages with dynamic, animation plus sound. That would
not be the case on conversion for none-flash devices. I did choose MotoCMS for big screens
and rich content plus easy use. Anything else would have been/should be a different product.
OH! my ol' Apple..
Thank you, Christian, for your comment! Fortunately, most of the people don't know nothing about problems between Apple and Adobe - they just want to be able to see their sites on every device that is connected to the Internet...
Kostas
True! Anyway there are/will be publishing solutions for this. //I have to comment: Choosing non flash is sadly
only about market shares not progression. The fruit is heading for a realy strange direction, making a mistake.
The ol' man was wrong. End of line. CBoerner
I want to thank you guys for creating a great product. It allows you to create a quality looking site in flash in a flash. I hope you guys dont spend too much time on a non flash extrapolation feature because i cannot fathom how hard that would be. Why use a CMS for flash for non flash? YES people thanks to Steve Jobs you will have to learn to rollover your site and create an html site dedicated to each device you want to support. It goes with being a web designer! HELLO no matter how hard you try to create a html site out of a flash CMS your going to get a compromised mess especially if your a nitpicker like myself. Yes every site I build I create one in flash cms, one dedicated to the iphone, one for the iPad, one for dialup and sometimes more... Hello HTML 5.
Thank you, Matt!
Boys at that point you are with the compatibility with iPad - I have several projects to be having the problem but I have my clients vigliono compatibility with IPAD. Give me the dates otherwise I have to find different things
Best regards Fabio
P. S. I have a problem with the template - when viewing a site and go back the site sees very badly (all distorted) happens to me often as I can solve
Hello Fabio,
Sorry, but our marketing department strictly disallowed us to speak about dates. The only thing I can tell - that the long story is now really close to its final.
Meanwhile, do you know about this temporary solution?
Best regards,
Kostas
Upload videos being tells me that I can not upload files larger than 64MB, and this depends on my website - I talked to OVH to where the site is they tell me that there are no upload limits. So depends on what? Can you help? What settings should have the server to upload files larger than 64 mb cideo. I urge to solve the problem.
thanks Fabio
Hello Fabio,
Such restrictions are depending on your server's PHP memory settings. Please, contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase memory_limit, upload_max_filesize and post_max_size for your site.
Best regards,
Kostas
I have a couple of questions to ask - I hope you can help. If I move the site with the browser back and forward buttons on the site no longer see properly. (Photo 1) Else if the plug-in for public comments on facebook and I click on other comments shows the window is truncated (Fig. 2) can help. There are plug-in to handle news archive? would be great.
There are new for the conversion for iPad - where are we?

Hello Fabio,
Please, submit a new ticket providing your site's URL and your FTP details. We need to have closer look at this issue.
