Zend Optimizer

Bjornsong
asked this on December 28, 2010 09:46

I purchased a template: 31636, and I followed the download and upload instructions, but I can't access the site as an admin. The template was uploaded onto www.junghihan.com, and when you type www.junghihan.com/admin, I recieve a message that 'zend optimizer' is not installed. I have been trying to make it work, but I need so pointers on installing the 'zend optimizer.'

Hello Bjorn,

You need to install Zend Optimizer 3.3 to our server for Flash CMS to work. Most likely you won't be able to install it yourself so please ask your hosting provider to install Zend Optimizer 3.3 to your server.

the person at the hosting server said that they had an earlier version of Zend and were hesitant about upgrading to the 3.3 version because they feared that it would cause problems with all their other clients whose sites were using the earlier version of Zend. Is this true? Will it cause problems with their other clients' web sites if they upgrade?

I had the exact same problem and i found the solution:

make sure you are using exactly the allowed PHP version.. not more not less.

Please contact your hosting provider in order to install Zend Optomizer. They should do it for you.

I am having the same problem, now I am getting the following message:
Fatal error: Incompatible file format: The encoded file has format major ID 3, whereas the Loader expects 4 in /home/content/18/5738618/html/admin/index.php on line 0

For me, all different problems were solved when I changed the php mode which had a lot to do with security.

Hello Hicham

Unfortunately, we can install Zend Optimizer just on GoDaddy, JustHost and some of Linux servers. Regarding rest of the servers customers should contact their Hosting Providers asking them to install Zend Optimizer version 3.3.x as it is Flash CMS requirements.

Thanks for your help guys. I'm still having issues however. I can't seem to upload any photos through the admin. I keep getting the following message:

Errors:
fileUploadErrorNoTmpDir|No temporary directory was found for the file 'file'

Also why doesn't the website load on any hand held devices? iPhone, Blackberry etc... this is a big problem...can it be resolved?

This is another "big" issue flash has... All handheld devices and tablets don't render flash in general. there is a new HTML 5 plugin that converts flash to a readable format but this has to be installed on the website side not devices... In other words, flash cms developers should imbed this plug in in their templates/ platform.

Hello Thierry,

We have responded in your ticket. You site seems to work normally now.

Sorry, but Zend Optimizer is the only way to protect our product from illegal use. And it is well known Moto CMS hosting requirement. It is written absolutely everywhere that you will need Zend Optimizer installed on your server to work with Moto CMS.

Best regards,

Hello Chuck,

The only hosting requirements we have are:

PHP version 5.2 or 5.3

Zend Optimizer version 3.3 (for PHP 5.2) or Zend Guard Loader (for PHP 5.3)

Linux servers are preferred. We don't have any other requirements.

Best regards,

Kostas
