Hi Kostas Snider, thanks for the video. I'm a designer on a Mac using the great Filezilla on OSX.
..
When switching the transfer type to binary (FileZilla Mac Version 3.5.3), i wonder if the other
settings are important too? It's possible to activate "Treat files without extensions as ASCII file"
AND "Treat dotfiles as ASCII files". I've recognized that these two functions are ON by devault,
what means ..even when one transfers everything in binary, the .htaccess file will stay in ASCII.
Since i have/had big problems get the transfer and permissions correctly, i wonder if these two
details could solve some problems (for the mac crew etc). I've attached a screenshot of the info.
Regards, CBoerner
Hello,
The only important setting is "binary". The rest - will not influence on anything, so please just forget about other settings.
Best regards,
Kostas
