possibility to access popup through direct link in browser

for example www.website.com/any-web-page-or-page-containing-link-to-popup/popup
because it's annoying when in search engine you got link to specific product or info page and then you cannot find it. customers just walking away.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to fulfill this feature request. One of the reasons: there can be many pages containing the link to the same popup - what should be this popup URL then?

every popup has unique url so why not to open popup www.website.com/popupurl - the same way it's indexed by search engines and if popup opens from splash (or first website page) - fine.
when user found popup searching the web - it's critical to deliver this page, otherwise customers are very ulikely to get back to website where it's hard or impossible fo find reffered page.
what other reasons?
